In 2001, this district was recognized as “One of 100 sites with beautiful scenery” by the Ministry of the Environment. Stone terraced paddy fields rarely seen nowadays extend over 1 hectare. Highly unique small wooden storehouses bring peace of mind and nostalgic memories for visitors.
